Amber Dotson

Amber Dotson, a native of Garland, Texas, remembers learning how to two-step around her family's pool table, listening to Merle Haggard, George Strait, Marty Robbins and Willie Nelson. After winning local singing competitions and singing demos in
Dallas, she moved to Nashville in her early 20s.

She found singing influences in Reba McEntire, Patty Loveless and Tammy Wynette. As a songwriter, she signed to Sony/Tree and later joined the roster of Capitol Nashville. She toured with George Strait and Dierks Bentley in early 2005.
